Right to free speech is one of the most precious rights an individual has as a citizen of India. This right gives people opportunity to speak their mind and give their opinions of what they think should happen. These rights have been questioned and exercised throughout the history, and have produced extremely positive results in a lot of cases. The questioning of these rights is not secluded to one era of time.
They have been questioned many different times, in many different ways. In this era, the right to free speech is being questioned more and more. People are not using their right to free speech because they feel as if they cannot. It seems that the government is not letting them speak. Despite having fundamental right, some elements are not letting people to speak. Commoners choose the government, and the pleas of those commoners go unheard. Not only this, the government who is accountable to the citizens of India, they suppress the demands and voices of their people.
