The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Kalal under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi conducted a medical camp in Gania in Nowshera.
The camp served a dual purpose, firstly providing primary health care facility at the door step to the people of the far flung villages of the border areas and secondly to provide the essential and first aid medications free of cost.
The medical camp included a team of Army doctors and civil doctors, who treated approximately 497 patients in and around village Gania namely Langer, Manpur, Dhanaka, Choki Handan and many availed benefit from the day long medical camp. All patients were thoroughly checked for their ailments and free medicines distributed.
The local populace lauded the efforts of the Army for reaching the AWAM through goodwill projects on health care in such remote areas.
