RR RESCUED MAN FROM CHEETAH ATTACK

The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Gool under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Uniform Headquarters, Reasi rescued a man who was attacked by a Cheetah at Kote Budhan forest near Lancha.
 
Mr Mohd Kasim, age 50 years was attacked by a Cheetah, while he was grazing his cattle in the meadows on the fringes of Kote Budhan forest near Lancha.  He shouted for help which was heard by an Army patrol party nearby. The brave soldiers immediately rushed and scared the cheetah away.  Then the forest officials were informed immediately.
 
The injured man was evacuated to the Medical Inspection Room of the Army at Lancha where he was administered life saving first aid and subsequently evacuated to the Government Hospital at Gool.
 
His family members expressed their gratitude and appreciated the efforts of the Army for the noble deed.
