Salman Khan’s Arms Act case: Jodhpur District court to announce verdict on January 18

Jodhpur Sessions Court will announce the decision on actor Salman Khan’s Arms Act Case on January 18.
A case was registered against Salman under the Arms Act for alleged possession and use of arms with expired license during poaching of two blackbucks, a protected animal under the Wildlife Protection Act, at village Kankani near Jodhpur in October, 1998.
The actor was in Jodhpur for the shooting of Hindi film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ when the incident occurred.
He has three poaching cases registered against him and he has twice served time in the Jodhpur jail – in April 2006 and in August 2007.
