Samba Police arrested drug peddler, recover 104 pouches of illicit liquor

Samba Police on Tuesday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 103 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the accused at different places of Samba.
As per reports, a team of Police Station Samba headed by SHO Samba on the on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Anil Magotra KPS laid a special naka near Bhargwa Degree College. During the frisking, Police recovered 40 pouches of nips/pouches of J&K Excise from the possession of accused identified as Anshu son of Mohan Lal resident of Chack Manga Rakwal Samba.
Police has registered a case FIR No. 79/2017 U/S 48 Ex. Act against the accused and further investigation is going on in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Police Party of Police Post Rajpura headed by I/C PP in an association with DSB Samba succeeded in recovery of 63 nips/pouches of J&K Excise in which Police has taken cognizance and further investigation is going on.
