BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (CA) alongwith State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma and District President Ayodhya Gupta inaugurated the office of Jammu West District in
the premises of Pt Premnath Dogra Bhawan, Kachi Chawni, Jammu.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that an office of a political party is the place where programmes and politics are discussed and various activities are operated. It also serves as a bridge between the party and the people and redress their problems besides creating favourable opinion of the party in the public. He asked the workers and the office bearers, in particular to make the regular schedule of their availability in the office in order to attend the grievances of the public. He said the party workers are the messengers and face of the party in the public. Therefore, they have to be conscious of their actions in the public life and set a good example before the society.
Ashok Kaul said that provision of an independent office equipped with modern facilities is the need of the time and the party at national level has decided to setup such offices in each district for
the convenience of the workers and the public.
Jugal Kishore Sharma that Pt. Premnath Dogra Bhawan is an historic building with which is attached the long and colourful past of the party. It is also witness to various agitations, protests and achievements. He asked the district team to maintain the sanctity of this place, which is the temple of faith for crores of party activists and the people, throughout the country. The proceedings of the inaugural function were conducted by District General Secretary Sanjeev Sharma.
