Sat Sharma and Simrandeep inaugurates newly constructed complexes in Rehari Girls School

Fulfilling the vision of creation of a model school in Jammu West, State President BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) along with DC Jammu Simrandeep Singh inaugurated newly constructed complexes in the premises of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Rehari Colony. A large number of people including senior Government officials, staff and management of the school including Principals of all Government schools of Jammu West, social and political activists were also present on the occasion.

The newly constructed model laboratories in the premises as part of model school initiative for students include Chemistry lab, Physics lab, Biotechnology lab and a model Library in order to create best infra for the students and a total amount of nearly Rupees 30 lakhs has been spent on the same in which MLA has contributed Rupees 19 lakhs from his CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme and the rest has been partly funded by Education Department.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that from a very long time there was a need of construction of a model school as proper infra was lacking for students and it was a dire requirement as well. He also said that every school in the Constituency should be provided with best infrastructure possible and it will be seen in coming days that each and every Government school of Jammu West is provided with a facility of a model school. Sharma also appreciated the efforts of DC Jammu and education department for their speedy initiative in the process of building first model school of Jammu District. He also stressed upon promoting the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of building a clean and green nation and asked students to contribute in the noble cause.

Director Education Smita Sethi, Addl DC Anuradha Gupta, CEO JK Sudan, XEN PWD (R&B) Uttar Kumar, XEN JMC Prabodh Sharma, AEE PWD Yasir Kitchloo, XEN Rajinder Sharma, Principals Subash Chander Sharma, Principal Rajni Kotwal, Principal Sureshta Dogra, Principal Shashi Thappa and several others were also present.
