Blocks National Highway and set ablaze Pak Flag
Kathua, April 16
Shiv Sena (Bal Thakrey) today condemned Pakistan Military Court’s decision of executing Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav and held protest in Kalibari, demanding his immediate release.
The party members blocked the Jammu-Pathankot national highway for a while, raised anti-Pakistan slogan and set ablaze the Pakistan’s national flag. Protesters denounced the military trial of Jadhav on false charges of being involved in spying as RAW agent. They questioned the silence on part of the so-called Human Right activists and intellectuals, both in Pakistan and India and said that they stand exposed in the present episode. Shiv Sena Sate advisor Radhey Radhey, said, “The central government must take immediate action to ensure that Jadhav is released. The Indian government must take tough action and save the Indian nationalist’s life.” He further said, “Indian government must take immediate steps to pressurize the Pakistani government to release Jadhav. How can Pakistan declare him spy and sentence him without having any valid proof? Jadhav was not given any chance to defend him. Even the Indian high commissioner in Pakistan was prevented from providing any sort of assistance to Jadhav.
This is unjust and it will only increase the rock bottom relationships between the two countries.” “Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is trying to improve the relations between India and Pakistan. He must take stern action and speed up the movement to ensure that Jadhav is released from Pakistan,” he added.
