Shiv Shakti Sena, J&K staged a Protest demonstration against the Food , Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Deptt., Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir, today on 30th day of Dec, 2.016 in front of Main Chowk, Near Saugat Showroom, Janipur, Jammu.
Shiv Shakti Sena, J&K alongwith Party workers and general public in the Protest Demonstration raised slogans against the State Administration and especially the Minister tbr FCS&CA Department, J&K, for escalation in the rates of the essential commodities like Atta, Rice and improper supplies of these items to the consumers.
Rakesh Gupta , President, Shiv Shakti Sena, J&K, while. criticismg the FCS&CA Department and State Administration stated that this decision of the Govt. is not interested to redress the grievances of the general public as the ration items are provided regularly to the consumers and they have to purchase the ration from the open market on high rates. This department has already escalated the Govt. rates of Atta and Rice to Rs.13.00 and Rs. 15.00, whereas there is no availability of sugar in the ration depots. Moreover the Kerosene oil is not supplied property to the rationees.
Gupta, urged upon the State Govt. to roll back this decision and allow supply of wheat floor & nee to the rationees on the previous rates. He further warned that if this decision is not reverted then the general public will be forced to come on roads and stage State Wide protest against the Govt. as well as FCS & CA Department in support of their genuine dernand of receiving the ration on
previous rates. Gupta also urged upon the Honble PM Shri Modi ji to pay attention to this crucial issue and issue directions for rolling back of ration items. He also praised Mr. Modi tbr nis comrnendable works which he has taken up in hand for the sake of this Nation. An Effigy of the concerned Department was also burnt on spot.
The Protest demonstration was led by Mr. Gupta and attended by a large gathering comprising of S/Sh. Shiv Deep Gupta, Ashwani Gupta, Sat Pal Shanna, Mahinder Dogra, Kaka, Rahul Gupta, Aman Kumar and others.
