Addressing the meeting of party chairperson, YNC Jammu Provincial President Ajaz Jan said that situation in valley is not improving even after about one month which is the most worried part.
“Kashmir unrest is directly or indirectly affecting the whole state and everyone is praying for peace in the
valley ” Jan said.
While questioning the Confidence Building Measures decided between Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Prime Minister Narendra Modi before formation of coalition government in J&K, Ajaz Jan said that what type of CBMs are these in which PM is not even saying a single word over the deteriorated situation in valley.
” Except chairing a couple of meetings and sending Home Minister to valley for a day, Prime Minister has so far not shown any concern over valley which is one of the most unfortunate part at this time ” Jan said.
” PM visited J&K many a times and even spent days during Diwali festival but when situation is worse and more than fifty people have lost lives and thousands injured, PM is not even showing concern ” Jan said.
“We expected PM to play a major role in restoring normalcy in valley but he seem in ‘ I Don’t Care ‘ mood ” he further added.
Earlier in the meeting Jan asked party leaders to increase public contact programmes so that Youth wing of National Conference gets strength in terms of party cadre at grass root level.
” Hold meetings at ward, locality, Mohalla and village level and try to get the
public problems addressed through concerned government quarter ” Jan asked party leaders.
