Singh Club Akhnoor shall be playing against Chinore Cricket Club (CCC) in the final of the ongoing Twenty20 Tournament, organised by SP Rural of J&K Police under Civic Action Programme at MHAC School Nagbani, near here on April 18. Earlier, in the semifinals, decided today, Singh Club defeated Singh Club Baba Talab by five wickets. Batting first, after Sigh Club won the toss and opted to field, Singh Club Baba Talab made 124 runs losing all their wickets in 17.1 overs. Anil (40), Lablu (25) and Happy (20) were main contributors to the total. From Singh Akhnoor, Chander Kiran emerged as most successful bowler with five wickets, including hat trick. Sunny and Sunil shared two each. In reply, Singh Akhnoor attained the goal making 125 runs in 17 overs for five wickets. Aunny Mahi played fine innings of 56 runs while Sunil Sharma contributed 44 runs and Manik Sharma added 11. From Singh Baba Talab, Ankush took two wickets, followed by Lablu and Happy, who shared apiece each. Chander Kiran was adjudged man of the match for his five wickets haul. Meanwhile, in other semifinal of the day, Chinore Club registered an outright 10-wicket win against Baba Jitto Club.
