Special Aadhaar camps to be organised across Jammu: Kavinder Gupta

To felicitate the people for ease enrolment of adhar, the government would be organised across Jammu to cover remaining population and ease the process of Aadhaar enrolment. This was informed by Speaker State Assembly Kavinder Gupta while visit to a biometric enrolment camp being held for Aadhaar card registration at Barjalla, Satwari.
Kavinder Gupta while remarking on the importance of Aadhaar said that this card serves as a Universal Identity Card that can act as an ID for almost all Governance-related services.”To expedite the biometric registration special localised enrolment camps in every area will be organised. These localised camps will not only help bring this service to people’s doorsteps but will also prove helpful to senior citizens who are unable to travel long distances” he added.
Kavinder informed that these camps will be organised especially on Sundays so as to ensure that maximum people can make use of these camps. The camp was attended by people in large expressed their thanks for organising the camp in their area.
Earlier, the Speaker inaugurated developmental works at Dashmesh Nagar, Ward No 58 for the up-gradation and construction of lanes and drains. The construction work is being executed by the JMC at an estimated cost of 4.5 lakh.
