Renewing its commitment to promote sport climbing in J&K and to support Mountaineering Association of J&K (MAJK) to win the National Championship, the , management of Sprawling Buds School, Bantalab, here sponsored a 15 days long coaching camp at Tenzing Norgay Sport Climbing wall in the school premises. The camp in which about 25 children including 13 girls are participating was inaugurated today by Principal of the School, Arti Sharma in the presence of Association general secretary, Ram Khajuria and joint secretary, Shawetica Khajuria. Director, Sprawling Buds Schoo, Rahul Sharma was also present. While lauding the grand showing of the state team in the North Zone as well as National Championship at Bangalore, Arti Sharma had a special word of praise for Shivani Charak who has brought laurels to the state by getting selected in the Indian team for the World Cup in Bouldering. The school management would provide all possible training facilities and infrastructure to the state climbers, she assured while presenting an imported climbing rope worth Rs 12,000 to the Association. General secretary of MAJK, Ram Khajuria while expressing his gratitude to the management of Sprawling Buds School for the timely sponsorship assured them that with their continued liberal support to the Association would definitely achieve the aim of winning national championship this year. The camp is being conducted under the supervision of Shashi Kant Sharma, the trainer of the state team, in cooperation with senior climbers Mrityunjay Sharma, Ambreen Fatima and Shilpa Charak.
