Srinagar Lok Adalat settles 610 cases amicably

According to Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic), Srinagar, a Lok Adalat was organized today in the premises of District Court Complex Sannat Ghar Bemina during which 610 cases of different natures were settled amicably.

The Lok Adalat was held  under the chairmanship of Principal District and Sessions Judge Srinagar, Rashid Ali Dar.

Five benches were constituted to settle the cases. The first bench was presided over by Additional District and Sessions Judge TADA POTA Srinagar, second bench was presided over by Additional District and Sessions Judge District Consumer Forum, Srinagar, third bench was presided over by Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic) Srinagar.

Similarly fourth bench was presided over by Additional Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic) Srinagar and fifth bench by Additional Special Mobile Magistrate (TFC) Panthachowk Srinagar.

As many as 697 cases were taken up out of which 610 cases were settled amicably and an amount of Rs. 64,45,950 was realized as settlement amount.
