SSP Jammu holds meeting, review pending cases

In order to review law and order across Jammu district, SSP Jammu Dr Sunil Gupta, IPS on Saturday reviewed for early finalization of the pending cases/public complaints to give the relief to the general public. The main focus of the meeting was to improve the quality of investigation of accident cases, Motor vehicle theft, burglary, NDPS Act and other cases. Addressing the meeting, SSP Jammu personally checked the case files of heinous offences took the serious note of it and directed I/Os for speedy disposal of cases assigned to them for conducting the investigation.
He also advised the Police Stations staff to conduct foot patrolling in their respective jurisdictions especially on NHW and make the beat system stronger to avoid crime and other incidents. At last, the investigating staff was directed to conduct the investigation of cases with zeal, dedication and with transparency at an earliest possible time in the public interest and bring the pendency to the minimum.
Others who were present during the occasion including Police Sub-Division Domana, Jammu, SP Rural Arun Gupta, Chief Prosecuting Officer Vikraant Sharma, SDPO Domana, Varinder Singh, SHO P/S Domana Rattan Singh Rana , Kahna Chak Rajesh Sharma, Incharge of Police Posts under Sub-Div. Domana.
