St. Peter’s High School celebrates Labour Day

With grateful hearts, the Young Students Movement (YSM) unit of St. Peter’s High School celebrated the Labor’s day in the school premises.
While addressing the gathering, Principal, Fr. Thomas Niravathu thanked all the supportive staff for their tireless work with dedication and the winner was given cash prizes along with gifts of love from all the YSM students, which was honored by Dr. Renu Nanda and Fr. Thomas.
May Day every year is celebrated as labor’s day. The great day of joy is celebrated to honor the hard work of our supportive staff. This day reminds us to encourage, to support, to show our love and concern, to acknowledge their contribution in the society.
The day was graced with the presence of Dr. Renu Nanda HOD Department of Education, University of Jammu as the chief guest. Her words of appreciation and wisdom made everyone to feel the pain and the hard work of our supportive staff.
The programme started with handing over the lighted earthern Diyas to the supportive staff. Special prayers were said for them and for their family members. A Bhajan was sung by the workers seeking God’s blessings.
The entire YSM unit presented graceful dances and an inspirational Qawali. The Labor’s day celebration came to an end with National Anthem.
