Student for Development, Jammu and Kashmir, organised seminar at GWC

SFD (Student for Development) Jammu and Kashmir, a forum of ABVP organised a seminar on “My Earth -My Responsibility” at Govt. Women College Kathua. On this occasion DFO Kathua Ashwani kumar Bhagat Present as a Chief guest, Dr. Satinder Singh Principal Govt. Women college present as a Guest of Honour and SFD State in charge  Rahul dev present as main speaker.

Stuti Upadhaya, Archana Sharma from GWC and Sourav from Boys Higher Secondary School also presented their views on the topic.

Rahul dev said SFD working in the field of environment from 1990. Jan, Jangal, Jammen, Jal, Janwar is the theme line of SFD. He further added SFD is organising programmes throughout the country like. This Summer the organization would organise functions in relation of saving birds, neat & clean campus, polythene free city, and save water.

He said this is our responsibility to save the nature or use limited resources of nature in limited way and soon SFD starts Plantation drive and this summer save birds with water.

DFO Kathua Ashwani Kumar appreciated the step taken by SFD to save environment. He said, “In today scenario Global warming is the biggest threat to the society and saving earth and environment is our first responsibility”.

Prof. Rakesh Jasrotia, Prof. Umesh, ABVP State Joint Secretary Akshay Bharti, City President Amit Soodan and large number of students were present on the occasion.
