Jammu Tawi, April 26
While paying tributes to 25 CRPF jawans who were killed in a deadly Naxalite ambush in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma area, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) senior vice president Yudhvir Sethi today said that their sacrifices will not go waste and the nation stands by their families at this hour. He was speaking to students of government school, Pul Tawi after inaugurating swings donated by him. The institution has been adopted by Mr Sethi who is trying his best to ensure that the school is well equipped in terms of infrastructure and excels in academics as well.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi said exhorted upon students to do their bit in saving environment and maintaining cleanliness in and around their institution. He said that maintaining hygiene is very much part of their curriculum which they must not forget and not even depend upon others for the purpose. He added that cleanliness is next to Godliness for which the staff and students of institution must work together and help maintain ecology as well.
Sethi said that swings were got installed in the institution so that children could spend quality time during their break and also assured that this will be followed by installation of water cooler with purifier and a hygienic toilet complex for the conveniences of boys and girls separately.
VEC members Sunil Dogra, Bittu Dogra, Narender Agarwal, Swarn Singh, Sachin Kocher Sushil Sharma, Charanjeet Singh, Sonia Devi and Joginder Raj also attended the function and lauded the efforts of Yudhvir Sethi in adopting this institution and raising its infrastructure.
Principal of the institution, Sunita Gupta presented a vote of thanks and said that it was because of better infrastructure that number of students in the institution has increased. She thanked the chief guest, Yudhvir Sethi for providing swings to the institution and also impressed upon students to keep environment clean by saying no to use of plastic bags.
