Students stage protest outside JU for splitting of session fee

Students of KC Law College protested today outside the Jammu University against the college administration and University Authorities to split the session fee of college students and waive off the extra charges being charged by the private institutions, considering the economical crisis occurred due to Covid-19 global pandemic.

Students raised slogans, blocked the university main gate and condemned the administration for not adhering the issues raised by the students for past 5 days due to which they are forced to continue the protest that too in COVID times.

They informed that after protesting for more than 5 days, today one of their demands fulfilled which was to extend the last date of depositing the fee by the College Development Council(JU). The same notice has been sent to college authorities as well to extend the date at the earliest.

Speaking on the issue, NSUI District President, Sunny Parihar highlighted the issue and said that the agitation will continue till the rest of the demands i.e. deposition of fees in installments and charging only minimal fees from the students, will not fulfilled.
