Kishtwar, June 07
Minister of State for Transport, Revenue, Public Works Department (R&B), Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture Production and Youth Services and Sports, Sunil Kumar Sharma today inaugurated parking place and other developmental works in Kishtwar.
The Minister in presence of Deputy Commissioner, Ghulam Nabi Balwan inaugurated a parking place near ITI Kishtwar, constructed by PWD at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lacs which will provide better parking facility to the people.
Sunil Sharma also inaugurated lanes and drains in the town, constructed at cost of Rs 7 lacs by the Municipal Committee Kishtwar.
Later, Minister also addressed a massive rally along with Vice Chairman OBC, Yashpal Verma at Chatroo.
The rally was organized to generate massive awareness in people about the central and state sponsored schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister said that Central and State government have taken path breaking decisions for equitable development and welfare of the people of the state. The government is making concerted efforts to make door step delivery mechanism more effective”, said the Minister.
