Supreme Court suspends beef ban in J&K

Supreme Court (SC) today asked the Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir to constitute a 3 judge bench to resolve the conflicting issue of beef ban.
The Supreme Court has suspended an order of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court which had imposed a beef ban in the state.

According to reports, SC has also put Jammu bench order on abeyance for 2 months.

The Times of India reported that the apex court asked the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Chief Justice to set up new bench to decide the matter.
