Tamil Nadu BJP State President calls on Dr Jitendra

New Delhi, November 29
Tamil Nadu BJP State President Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan called on Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh here along with other State leaders and discussed a wide range of issues related to various government departments as well as the current political scenario in the State.
Dr Jitendra Singh conveyed to Dr Tamilisai, the high priority that the Modi government accords to equitable development of all the states and cited the instance of floods in Chennai last year when Prime Minister Narendra Modi had personally made a visit to the affected areas and also carried a team of doctors along with him. He said, Tamil Nadu, being one of the most crucial States in South India, always remains in the focus of all the new Central schemes and projects.
Lauding the dynamic approach of State President Dr Tamilisai, Dr Jitendra Singh observed, under the present State team, the BJP cadre in the State feel highly enthused and activated. Recalling his recent visit to Chennai in connection with “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”, he said, the political scene in Tamil Nadu is going through a phase of certain instability and therefore, in times to come, the State party unit will be expected to work with greater responsibility and precision.
