Teachers Federation to organize seminar on “Need of Reforms in Education in J&K” on May 21

A seminar on the topic “Need of reforms in Education Sector in J&K” is being organized on May 21 at Conference Hall, Dak Bunglow Poonch.
This was stated by Mohinder Parkash Bali, District general secretary, All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) Poonch, affiliated with Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM). He was addressing in a press conference at Hari Memorial Academy Poonch here today.
Mohinder Parkash Bali, said “Priya Sethi, Minister of State (MOS) for education has consented to be the chief guest on the occasion, whereas, Pardeep Sharma, Member Legislative Council (MLC) will be the guest of honour, educationists and some retired officials from Education Department will also express their views on the topic.”
Fayaz Ali, District vice president (AJKLTF), said “The motive of the Seminar is to start a debate in the state that it should have a separate Education Commission to look into the affairs of the department for the overhaul in the department”
He invited all the teachers in the seminar to show their (Teachers) power in the initiative being taken by All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation Poonch Unit.
Others who were present during the conference included Darshan Bharti, state vice president, Gurvinder Singh, convener, Dr Dharminder Shastri, district coordinator, Ravinder Dutta, Jeevan Parkash, Sanjeev Dutta, Neetan Sudan and others.
