Teachers Guild reviews transfer process of teaching professionals

Teachers Guild Jammu & Kashmir reviewed the transfer process of teaching professionals of Education department under the Chairmanship of Nasir Ahmad Qurashi, State President of Teachers Guild Jammu & Kashmir.
President hailed the efforts of Director School Education Jammu in connection with transfers of teachers, masters and headmasters in districts of Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi and Udhampur without any pressure.
He said that it is not possible for officers to please everyone during transfers but the Director School Education Jammu Smita Sethi set many appreciable and quotable examples of courage, boldness, honesty and transparency in transfers of teaching professionals.
He said it seems through transfer lists uploaded on website of Directorate of School Education Jammu that directorate tried suitable adjustments of teaching professionals at suitable and approachable posts of their own areas in Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi and Udhampur districts.
He said that transfers and adjustments on humanitarian ground, medical ground, need based or subject based ground and domestic ground is quite appreciable and for the benefit of concerned officials, which is a new initiative by the DSEJ. The officials suffering from life consuming deceases, disability cases, single parent employees and widows have been adjusted very suitably nearby their residence and it never seen earlier. He said may be few teachers and masters have been affected by some non-suitable adjustment orders but such case, if any, can be reviewed.
