Srinagar, April 27
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat strongly condemned slapping of one more Public Safety Act on its leader’s, Ab Hamid Para and Danish Ahmad Malik. Both leaders were shifted to Kot Bhalwal jail. Tehreek-e-k Hurriyat said that state judiciary though bailed out these leaders, however state authorities show no regard for court rulings and instead it is lawlessness that rules the roast, said Tehreek-e-Hurriyat. THK said that Ab Hamid Para is languishing in jail since one and half year, while as Danish Ahmad Malik was arrested during people’s uprising in 2016.
Party disclosed that their cases were quashed by judiciary, however were re-arrested and detained in police stations. Statement said that authorities invoked PSA against both and shifted to Jammu. There is no legal justification for this, said THK and termed it worst kind of state terrorism.
Party said, though international community has declared PSA a black law, however it is vaguely used within state territory and people are detained for pursuing their political ideologies.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat urged international human rights organizations for their cognizance and asked to use its influence for immediate release of all detainees.
