Giving boost to the Public Services Act and to provide assistance at the doorstep of a common man, especially in rural and far-off areas, Tehsil administration Bhadarwah organised a revenue camp at panchayat Mathola of Tehsil Bhadarwah. To give furtherance to the ongoing drive for updation of Land Records, Tehsildar Bhadarwah Dr Amir Hussain under the supervision of SDM Bhadarwah Mohammad Anwar Banday convened a Revenue Camp at Village Mathola in patwar halqa Chakka. During the camp, which was attended by a large number of villagers, 22 mutations were attested on spot in presence of the concerned persons, Village Lambardaars and elders. ” It’s not only our professional duty, but also a moral responsibility to provide our services at the doorsteps of a common man,” Tehsildar Bhadarwah Dr. Aamir Hussain said. ” We are trying our best to implement, Public Services Act in letter and spirit. And for the benefit of common masses, especially those living in far-off and inaccessible areas, we will keep on organising these camps,” Tehsildar added. Besides attesting the mutations, the local residents highlighted various issues pertaining to the allied Departments. Tehsildar assured villagers that the genuine issues shall be taken up with the concerned departments for expeditious redressal on merits.
While speaking on the occasion, a villager from Mathola Bharat Bhushan said that earlier we have to wait for months after numerous visits to tehsil office to get our mutation attested, but now we are getting hassle free service that too on the spot and at our own place. ” Hope they will carry this practice in future as well and other departments, especially PHE, PDD and RDD will follow the same,” Bharat Bhushan added.
