Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones at others: Sushma Swaraj

In-a-Straight Line; Report by: Harbans S Nagokay.

TERRORRISM IS THE BIGEST VOILATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS; WHAT CONDITIONS IS PAKISTAN TALKING ABOUT? OUR PM INVITED NAWAZ SHARIF IN HIS SWEARING-IN CETREMONY THEN WENT TO LAHORE TO WISH NAWAZ SHARIF ON HIS BIRTHDAY…THESE WERE NOT ANY CONDITIONS; WE ALWAYS TRIED TO STRENGTHEN TIES AND NEVER SET ANY CONDITION FOR DIALOGUES, BUT IN RETURN HAVE GOT PATHANKOT, URI, BAHADUR ALI AS LIVING EVIDENCE, YES! LIVING-PROOF.
Indeed, with above reactions our lady EAM-Ms. Sushma Sawaraj on Monday has given a strong & straight-forward replies to Pakistan PM’s language. In her much awaited speech at the United Nation General Assembly, Ms. Sawaraj pronounced terrorism as the biggest violation of human rights, in a strong reply to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Ms. Sawaraj said that India has never set any condition for dialogues but has only tried to strengthen ties, “but in return has got Pathankot, Uri, Bahadur Ali”.
With key focus on kindness & prevailing rigidities, Sushma Sawaraj with serious concerns, cautioned that “Those who seed extremist ideologies reap a bitter harvest.”
This germ of evil has grown into a hydra-headed monster, wanting mentioning Pakistan, Swaraj said countries have to come together to fight the scourge of terrorism, if some country is not willing then it must be isolated. And, while referring to the recent attacks in Valley, Swaraj said Kashmir is an integral part of India and Pakistan must stop dreaming about it. In an indirect reference to Balochistan, Swaraj said those who live in glass house should not throw stones at others.
On other side, at least five CRPF men were left injured on Monday in a grenade attack by suspected militants in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The militants hurled a hand grenade on a deployment of CRPF personnel at Wanpoh in Kulgam. All the injured were rushed to a government hospital for medical treatment.
However, Minister for Education, Naeem Akhter on Monday ruled out the role of separatists in forcing closure of schools and said that some third party was facilitating it. Minister said that the separatists including Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani himself has never compromised with education in his life and never ignored education.
At the end, where Sushma Sawaraj’s address left Pakistan almost lonely; as Nawaz Shareef’s 16-17 minute speech there, contained aggressiveness & violence with majority of references on Kashmir & nuclear fulfilled threats and saw militant Burnhan as young leader (Whom, SA Gilani claims as like his son) and Sushma Swaraj’s kind & soft speech covered subjects like global issues / problems of poverty, threats from terrorism, BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO, SWACHH BHARAT etc. Sanitation is also a big issue, and we have started ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’ under which 4 lakh toilets are built in 2 lakh schools here-in India. But at the same time, Nayeem Akhtar’s statement left majority of Indians amazed & surprized, otherwise.
Yet, nothing special is over or grown as India needs to do lot many like-wise, exercises’ to isolate & handle Pakistan else required to reply in its own language.
