Traffic resumes on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway

Traffic was resumed on the national highway, the only all weather road connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country on Wednesday, after remaining suspended for a day due torain-induced shooting stones and landslides.

Meanwhile, 434-km-long Srinagar-Leh national highway and 86-km-long historic Mughal road are through for traffic and only vehicles carrying essentials and fruit are allowed to ply as passenger traffic remained suspended due to COVID-19 pandemic.
