Train services resume in Kashmir after four-day suspension

Train services between Baramulla and Qazigund resumed on Sunday after remaining suspended for four consecutive days over tension against civilian killings in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The first train left from Banihal in south Kashmir at its usual timing, 6:40 am today towards Baramulla district in north Kashmir, said an official.

Meanwhile, curfew has been lifted from Srinagar while curbs continue on movement of people in Kupwara district.
