Two killed and two seriously injured on Saturday, after a unknown over speeding Truck hit the Car from behind, in which they were traveling on Jammu Pathankot National Highway.
The crash occurred on Sahar Khad bridge in Kalibari area of Kathua District, according to Kathua police. According to reports a unknown truck which was on his way from Jammu to Pathankot hit the alto car bearing registration number JK02AT- 4366 from behind. As the result, the four persons traveling in car were seriously injured. Two injured were found unconscious with life-threatening injuries at the scene, while another two were conscious with serious injuries, according to police.
The Police with the help of locals shifted all the injured to District Hospital Kathua, where doctor declared Shakeena (65) W/o Gh. Rasool R/o Samba and Shah Mohd. S/o Baggar Din R/o Samba dead. While Nek Mohammad S/o Shah Mohd. and Mir Hussain S/o Gulam Rasool referred to GMC Jammu, after giving first aid treatment. Police register a case and started investigation in this regard.
