Army on Saturday claimed to have shot dead two terrorists in an ambush along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
“Early morning today, suspicious move was detected by own troops at Naugam sector, Baramulla along the Line of Control,” said an army spokesman.
He said the army “swiftly” launched an ambush, resulting in the killing of two terrorists.
“Two AK-47 (rifles) and war like stores (were) recovered,” he added. Further details to follow.
