Vangaveeti: Amitabh Bachchan apologises to RGV for missing film event

Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently shooting for his upcoming gangster film Sarkar 3, a third instalment of the Sarkar franchise, took to Twitter and apologised for missing out on the film event.Ahead of its release, Ram Gopal Varma organised a film rally at JRC centre in Hyderabad. To everyone’s disappointment, the event took place without the Deewar actor. Tollywood stars like Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Sudheer Babu were present at the event.Vangaveeti is based on a true story and the film chronicles the life of Vangaveeti Ranga, who began his political career in 1981, after his brother Vangaveeti Radha Krishna was brutally lynched. Earlier this month, Kamma Kaapu song was removed from Vangaveeti after the High Court issues notice to RGV and the producer. The plot of Vangaveeti is touted to depict the rise of rowdyism in Vijayawada in the 80s. It is produced by Dasari Kiran Kumar under the banner of Ramaduta Creations. Vamsi Chaganti plays the role of Devineni Murali in the film.
Meanwhile, Big B will reprise his role as Subhash Nagre in Sarkar 3. Also starring Manoj Bajpai, Jackie Shroff, Yami Gautam, Ronit Roy and Amit Sadh, the film will release next year.
