Various schemes under Pradhan Mantri Yojana for masses

Various schemes launched under Pradhan Mantri Yojana were organised in various regions to benefit the masses.
The programmes saw participation in large numbers including various schemes even for the women beneficiaries. A 10 days exhibiton was organised by JKWDC at Kala Kendra.
40 women beneficiaries belonging to various Self Help Groups and holding different units financed under various Loan Schemes from different corners of State viz. Thanamandi Rajouri, Vijaypur Samba, Hiranagar, Kathua, Shajroo Reasi, Udhampur etc are participating in the exhibition.
The main motive behind holding such programmes is to benefit the needy and aim of conducting exhibition is to provide marketing support to loanee beneficiaries of JKWDC. The products displayed in the exhibition are Embroidery suits/Sozni items/Crewel items/Papier-machie/ Jute items /Dry Fruit/Artificial Flowers/ Bed covers/ Cushion covers/ Sweaters/, Jam/ Pickle/ Readymade Garments/ Jute Fancy Bags/ Dori and Plastic items etc. A mutual attraction was also made bringing an opportunity for the beneficiary to hold the Buyer & Seller Meet.
Similarly a awareness programme was organised by JK Grameen Bank on Financial inclusion at village Galbadde, Gajansoo.
It was done under the Chairmanship of RK Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organised awareness programme on the Pradhan Mantri’s Social Security Schemes in village Galbadde under the branch office Gajansoo. RS Billawaria, Area Manager Jammu, who was the chief guest on the occasion emphasized on Education and Housing loans. Vipan Gupta Manager MF&FI Deptt. J&K Grameen Bank informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of social security schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana.
He further informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor population particularly those working in the unorganised sectors.
He advised the people to avail this benefit through nearest Grameen Bank Branch. He made people aware of new Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme) in which the premium rates to be paid by the farmers have been brought down substantially so as to enable more farmers avail insurance cover against crop loss on account of natural calamities and thrust is also given on activation of RuPay card.The students of the school have actively participated in the programme.
Besides huge gathering Panchs, Sarpanchs of the area also attended the said camp.Branch Head Gajansoo, Ravi Verma presented the vote of thanks.Similar programme was also conducted at village Gho Manhasa.
