Minister for Public Works and Parliamentary Affairs today, Abdul Rehman Veeri today set the deadline of December 2016 ending for the completion of Chenani-Nashri tunnel. Officers informed the Minister that the construction on Baflaiz to Surankote stretch has almost been completed and from Thanamandi to Rajouri land acquisition and forest clearance process is in the final stage. The executing agency, Forest and Revenue departments will form a joint committee which will check the progress of the work on the regular basis on the directions of the Minister.
