Paying rich tributes to youth martyrd by BSF in Batamaloo yesterday Senior leader of Hurriyat (M) and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today demanded initiation of impartial proceedings under the UN War Crimes Tribunal against the troops involved in the killing of a youth in Batamaloo Srinagar.
Waza was addressing a public rally in Liver area of Tehsil Salar in South Kashmir where a lady Zamruda D/o Abdul Razaq Malla was allegedly assassinated by in laws, who was a active worker of Dukhtaran- e – Millat (DEM) On the occasion Waza while expressing heartfelt condolences with the family of deceased said enemies are working to bifurcate social fabric of Kashmir.
Later Addressing the Public rally Waza said bloodshed of innocent people is on here since 1947.
He added in 2008, 2010 and 2016 people of kashmir made it clear that this land has been illegally occupied by India but New Delhi always tried to stop kashmiri people on military might.
Waza expressed his deep concern over the growing incidences of “violation of human rights” by police and forces and said that that these men in uniform are suffering from power of arrogance and forget that youth are sacrificing their lives for the future of whole nation
Haling the freedom passion of people, Waza said that arbitrary and suppressive measures won’t deter them from pursuing the cherished goal. Other leaders who were with League Chairman including Rafiq Ahmad Dar, Manzoor Ahmad ,Shabir Ah Nanwaee , Mohd Altaf and Bilal Ahmad Sheikh.
Meanwhile Dukhtaran- e- Millat chief Syed Asiya Andrabi also visited Liver today to express sympathies with the family of Zamruda.
