Week-long Bhagwant Katha concludes

A week-long 16th Shrimath Bhagwant Katha organised by Akahandparamadham Satsang Simiti (ASS) Ramban in collaboration with Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) organised concluded, here today. The Katha is being recited by renowned Hardevanand Giri Ji Maharaj from Haridwar. Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh was the chief guest on the occasion, whereas vice president BJP Yudhveer Sethi presided the function. It is pertinent to mention here that this 8-day “Bhagwat Katha” is part of its annual Shrimath Bhagwath Katha which they was organising from the last 16 years keeping in view peace and prosperity among the people of the state. One the very first day, an impressive Kalash Yatra was taken out in Ramban which started from Ramleela Ground Maitra Ramban crossed Ramban and culminated back. Around 400 people from across the district are attended the “Bhagwat Katha” which is recited every day from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Speaking on the occasion president of ASS Bhim Sen said Pandit said the main aim to organise this Bhagwat Katha is to spread brotherhood and peace among the people of the state. On the concluding day around 4000 people across the state participated in which bandara and hawan was held. Vice president VHP Ramban Ashish Sharma said that such programmes will also be organise by these two organisation for the upliftment of the
downtrodden community of the society.
He further said that VHP is committed for the social causes and always ready to help the people in need adding that our organisation is reaching everywhere across the state especially to the far flung area of district Ramban.
Those who were present in the function included organisor Murli Singh, members of the organisation Sanjay Gupta and President Gaow Raksha Ramban Surinder Singh.
