Welcoming India-Pak dialogue, Omar asks why teams cannot play cricket

Welcoming the resumption of comprehensive dialogue between India and Pakistan, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today asked why cricket teams of both the countries cannot play.
Taking to micro blogging site twitter Mr Abdullah said  Good to see India-Pak announce the Comprehensive Dialogue (replacing the Composite dialogue) to begin forthwith. Step in the right direction.
We wasted time needlessly quibbling over Hurriyat. Time to now get some continuity & consistency injected in to the Indo-Pak relationship, he tweeted.
However, he said and while I’m at it if our NSAs & EAMs can meet & our PMs can chat why the heck can’t our cricket teams play a series against each other
