Jammu Tawi, April 17
Archaeological Survey of India on Tuesday celebrated World Heritage Day in Akhnoor Fort. Sunena Mehta, SDM Akhnoor was the chief guest on the occasion while KCS Mehta, Principal APS Akhnoor was the guest of honour. The programme was started with Saraswati Vandhana in which cultural prgramme was presented by the students of various school. On occasion, Photo exhibition was inaugurated by chief guest and guest of honour and SK Sinha of ASI.
Speaking on the occasion, SDM Akhnoor appreciated role of Archaclogical Survey of India for bringing students together and giving exposure to them about the heritage of our country. KCS Mehta in his speech advise students to promote culture and heritage of our Country and workout how to presence our heritage.
Dheeraj told students to be in touch with the Culture, ritual and heritage of our Country. Prizes were distributed to the students who excelled in culture program me and painting competition. Students are seen posing with Chief guest and guest of honours and officials of ASI.
