Former Minister J&K and senior Congress leader Yogesh Sawhney inaugurated the langar of Amarnath Yatra organised by the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society held at Baba Puran Nath Mandir at Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu. Sawhney took stock of the preparations and arrangement of langar for providing food and necessary facilities to the devotees of Shiva going on Amarnath Yatra. The organizers of the langar were National Executive President Shri Rajkumar Goyal and General Secretary Shri Raju Chandel.
The Former Minister personally came and distributed food and langar among Shiva devotees. He said that in this langar of Baba Barfani Amarnath ji, I saw with what devotion the langar operators are serving day and night with body, mind and wealth. The langar has been run here for 26 years by Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society. He appreciated the organisation for doing good work for the yatris at the time of the pilgrimage and being committed to their welfare. Calling it the one of best organised in Jammu and Kashmir, he also appreciated the organisers Mr. Goyal. Sawhney was accompanied by Varinder Singh Manhas, Vijay Malhotra, Ravi Panotra, Surinder Dogra and others.
He emphasized the importance of Lord Shiva and the eternal bond of humanity that exists in Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed happiness to be a part of this holy gathering and appreciated the efforts of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Kalyan Society Executive National President Rajkumar Goyal and National General Secretary Shri Raju Chandel and all volunteers in providing 24×7 langar services to the devotees of Baba Barfani. He assured his unwavering support for such noble initiatives and appealed to the people to come forward and contribute wholeheartedly to the langar organizations serving the pilgrims of Amarnath
Yatra.
Sawhney while addressing the media said that ever since the journey of Baba Barfani Amarnath ji is going on in our Jammu-Kashmir, since then the local residents and displaced and businessmean living from outside in our Jammu-Kashmir Every year the people are engaged in the service of Bhole Baba with body, mind and wealth and in the same way our Shri Rajkumar Goyal ji and Guruji Raju Chandel are also continuously engaged day and night in the service of the devotees of Bhole Shiv Shankar for so many years. I am very happy and appreciate their sentiments and devotion to Shiva and appeal to all people to cooperate and serve the devotees of Shiva. Further, Rajkumar Goyal, in his address, highlighted the divine essence of Lord Shiva and the blessings his devotees get by worshiping him. He expressed his gratitude for the privilege of attending the langar and serving the devotees on the auspicious Amarnath Yatra.
The members associated with the Langar included Langar Director Sardar Sucha Singh (Councillor) Bhagwati Nagar. “Mothershakti Meena Kal, TK Kak, Paramjit Singh Happy Manthan Goyal Youth leader Sardar Charan Singh, District President Jammu G.
