Ambani, Adani Express Strong Backing for Indian Armed Forces Amid Escalating Indo-Pak Tensions

New Delhi, May 9: Prominent Indian industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani have publicly pledged their support for the Indian armed forces amid ongoing hostilities with Pakistan, including heavy shelling, gunfire, and drone attacks.

Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries and Asia’s wealthiest man, praised the military’s efforts during “Operation Sindoor” and emphasized national unity in the fight against terrorism. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for a firm and strategic response to cross-border aggression, reaffirming that India will not tolerate any form of attack.

India launched significant retaliatory strikes on nine locations across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in response to a deadly terrorist incident two weeks prior. Pakistan responded with drone and missile assaults on multiple Indian cities, especially targeting air force bases. According to the Indian Army, these were successfully countered.

Adani, head of the Adani Group, highlighted India’s unity and resilience in challenging times. In a post on social media platform X, he voiced unwavering support for the military, saying the nation is solidly behind its defenders and committed to preserving its ideals and sovereignty.

Mining magnate Anil Agarwal also commended the armed forces, expressing admiration and prayers for their courage. He asserted that India’s actions have upheld its dignity and conveyed full support for both the country’s leadership and military.

Ambani reiterated that India values peace but will not compromise on its pride, security, or sovereignty. He said the Reliance group stands ready to support national efforts to defend unity and integrity.

Agarwal concluded by lauding India’s current leadership, calling the nation a powerhouse of 1.4 billion people driven by conviction and strength. “India will always emerge victorious,” he declared.
