Srinagar: In a shocking incident a terrorist armed with a pistol attacked a bulletproof vehicle of CRPF in Khanyar area of Srinagar last night. According to the report, the incident happened at around 9:30pm when an unidentified terrorist armed with a pistol opened fire at the CRPF vehicle in Khanyar area of Srinagar, which was repelled by the vigilant personnel on the spot of incident. After shooting the CRPF vehicle, the terrorist ran away from the scene. The terrorist attack on the CRPF vehicle was caught on CCTV cameras installed in the area.
“There was an attempted attack by a pistol-borne terrorist on BP vehicle of CRPF in Khanyar area, which was repelled by alert personnel. The terrorist was chased away by personnel, who showed wise restraint due to potential collateral damage. No loss of life or property was reported”, Srinagar Police said on X.
