An encounter broke out between Indian army and terrorists in Adigam area of Kashmir’s Kulgam district last night.
As per sources, a joint team of J&K police, CRPF and Indian army launched a cordon and search operation in Adigam village, after they got information about the presence of terrorists.
As the joint team of security personnel reached towards the encounter site, the concealed terrorists fired upon the security personnel and a gunfight started.
The encounter is still going on in the area to hunt the terrorists which started last night yesterday.
“Encounter has started at Hadigam area of Kulgam district. Kulgam Police ,Army and crpf are on the job. Further details shall follow”, Kashmir Police said on X.
