Burglars stole groceries worth thousands from shop in Jammu

A startling theft incident has come to fore from Narwal area of Jammu city in which burglars stole groceries worth thousands of rupees in the wee hours of morning.

According to the report, the thieves allegedly stole groceries which includes ghee boxes, cigarettes, fortune oil, vegetable oil, Amul milk packets worth of 60 thousand of rupees from a Karyana shop in Narwal of Jammu and disappeared from the crime scene.

“I found locks of my shop broken when I went to the shop at 6am in the morning. I went to the police station and registered a complaint there.

“The police came with me and have taken stock of the theft incident. The burglars have stolen ghee, all the cigarettes, oil, Amul milk, washing powder worth of 60K from my shop.

“So many burglaries have happened here and the thieves are still on the run. There are CCTV cameras in my shop now it is the job of police to start the probe”, said Mr Vikram Sharma, Owner of the shop.
