President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday conferred Arjuna Award to Para Archer Sheetal Devi along with various sports personalities at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Ms Sheetal who hails from Jammu-Kashmir’s Kishtwar district won three gold medals and one silver medal in the 4th Para Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China in 2023. She won one silver medal in the World Para Archery Championship held in Pilsen, Czech Republic in 2023.
These are the sports persons across various sports who were conferred today with Arjuna Award by President Draupadi Murmu for the National Sports, Ojas Pravin Deotale (archery), Aditi Gopichand Swami (archery), Murali Sreeshankar (athletics), Parul Chaudhary (athletics), Mohameed Hussamuddin (boxing), R Vaishali (chess), Mohammed Shami (cricket), Anush Agarwalla (equestrian), Divyakriti Singh (equestrian dressage), Diksha Dagar (golf), Krishan Bahadur Pathak (hockey), Sushila Chanu (hockey), Pawan Kumar (kabaddi), Ritu Negi (kabaddi).
