A hair raising incident has come to light in which a 17-year-old girl alleged that her father raped and made her pregnant in J&K’s Rajouri district, following which he has been held yesterday.
According to the report, the matter came to fore when the victim went to Teryath police post SI Amit and registered a complaint that her father raped her and she is 6-7 months pregnant.
The accused was identified as Mohd Bashir Chaudhary s/o Mohd Chaudhary r/o Panglar, Hawas of Rajouri district.
On the basis of this complain the police launched a probe and arrested the minor girl’s father.
A case FIR No. 8/2024 u/s 376, 506 4/6 of POSCO act of the IPC was registered at Dharamsal police station and an investigation was taken up.
