Kathua police imprisons Bovine peddlers

The Kathua police on Saturday has caught two bovine peddlers and rescued 27 cattle from them.

According to the report, the Rajbagh police post guided by SSP Kathua Shivdeep Singh Jamwal impounded two trucks loaded with cement bags and vegetables at Rajbagh in the area and recovered 27 bovines hidden in the goods.

The police has arrested two bovine traffickers in this case and a probe is on. The cops have also confiscated trucks used for cattle peddling.

A case under relevant sections of the IPC has been registered at Rajbagh police station in Kathua.
