“We are working to make India ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047”: Nirmala Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday while presenting the interim budget in the Lok Sabha assembly in parliament asserted that the NDA govt led by PM Narendra Modi is working to make India as ‘Viksit Bharat” by the year 2047.

 

“We are working to make #India Viksit Bharat by 2047,” said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman highlighting the government’s commitment to social justice during her budget speech.

“Our young country has high aspirations, pride in present and hope and confidence in its bright future,” says #NirmalaSitharaman as she begins her Budget speech”, FM said further.

“Minimum Support Prices for the produce of annadata are periodically increased appropriately and the provision of basic necessities have enhanced real income in the rural areas,” Finance Minister Nirmala commented on MSP.

“When we assumed office in 2014, the country was facing enormous challenges. With ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ as its mantra, the government overcame those challenges,” says Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as she presents Union Budget 2024.

“In last 10 years, government has helped 25 crore people to come out of multi-dimensional poverty,” Finance Minister continued.

This is the sixth time that FM Nirmala Sithraman is presenting the budget in the NDA regime.
