A man on Sunday afternoon allegedly attempted to murder his elderly father in Bari Brahmana area of Jammu.
As per report, the crime occurred when a son tried to kill his old father in Dollian, Bari Brahmana of Jammu and left him badly wounded.
After the crime, the Bari Brahmana police station cops arrived at the scene and took the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
The father has been identified as Jasbir Singh and his son has been identified as Harvinder Singh.
“It’s been a month since fights over matters have been going on in our house. I live alone in my quarters. I have registered an FIR. I’m a retired army man”, he told victim.
A case has been registered at Bari Brahmana police station and an investigation is under way.
