‘Asphyxiation’ kills students in Kashmir

Two students, who were studying in a religious seminary which is located in Kashmir’s Bandipora district died of asphyxiation today.

Cops said that the two students belonging to Dar-ul-Uloom Faiz-ul-uloom passed away due to asphyxiation in Ashtangoo village of Bandipora.

The incident happened today’s morning when the authorities found the kids and their father unconscious.

After the incident, the children were rushed to a nearby medical facility but couldn’t be resuscitated. However their father is under observation at the health facility.

The deceased have been identified as Muneer Ahmad Chechi (10), and Tanveer Ahmad Chechi (9) sons of Qasim Ahmad Chechi from Malangam, Bandipora.

The cops are probing the matter.
