A 40-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision in Rathian village of J&K Udhampur district on Friday afternoon.
The mishap happened at Rathian village when a Tata load carrier collided with a biker and killed him on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Jyoti Prakash s/o Sansar Chand resident of Rathian of Udhampur, Jammu.
A case has been registered at a local police station and a probe is on.
A concerned local man demanded one crore compensation from LG govt emphasising that the deceased belonged to Below Poverty Line (BPL) category and a job for next of kin.
